However, there are few concrete experiences that provide relevant information that allows us to know which are the central aspects of the configuration of this semantic web. The aim of this study was to reveal central aspects of the configuration of the semantic web, which is still in the development process, from the realization of an experience of construction of semantic structure of concepts. From this semantic web, six dimensions that provide relevantinformation for the configuration, development and implementation of the semantic web and web ontologies were identified. Based on the results obtained, lines of action and reflection are proposed regarding the configuration of the semantic web for its application to the educational field. Los resultados alcanzados en el desarrollo de la web semántica son hasta ahora preliminares si se mira desde la óptica más ambiciosa, la de la adopción universal. Se han desarrollado algunas ideas aprovechables a niveles más específicos, y se han abierto nuevos campos para la innovación y la reflexión desde los abordajes teóricos. Sin embargo, hay pocas experiencias concretas que aporten información relevante que permita conocer cuales son los aspectos centrales de la configuración de esta web. El objetivo del presente estudio ha sido develar aspectos centrales de la configuración de la web semántica, en actual proceso, a partir de la realización de una experiencia de construcción de estructura semántica de conceptos. Esta actividad fue desarrollada en una asignatura de la carrera de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. A partir de esta experiencia de construcción de estructuras semánticas se identificaron seis dimensiones que aportan información relevante para la configuración, desarrollo e implementación de la web semántica y las ontologías web. Ella son: conocimiento del tema en la estructura semántica, diferencias en relación con la “amplitud” del tema en construcción, proceso de armado de la red semántica, dificultad en la selección de los textos, la comprensión de los temas, las relaciones y las estructuras semánticas de conceptos, el proceso más adecuado para abordar el texto y sus conceptos vinculados. A partir de lo relevado, se proponen líneas de acción y reflexión en torno a la configuración de la web semántica para su aplicación al campo educativo.
