Based on our object of study, European and Latin American theater, we try to disseminate the artistic creations and theoretical reflections, contributing to the dialogue inside and outside the university, always articulating critical reading of selected material from an aesthetic and theoretical point of view. For instance, in the translation of Sad Face, Happy Face, from the Belgian Jan Lauwers, a very important aspect is the orality and the mise en page of text, aspects that guide our present inquiry. In the publishing we considered both the effect produced in the reader of the text in the original language and in translation, and the relationship between the literary work and the staging. La colección Papeles teatrales, de la Editorial de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades de la UNC es un proyecto en el cual intentamos articular la investigación sobre el teatro con la difusión de dramaturgia y teoría contemporáneas. Partiendo de nuestro objeto de estudio, teatro europeo y latinoamericano, buscamos que se conozcan y difundan las creaciones artísticas y reflexiones teóricas, contribuyendo al diálogo dentro y fuera de la universidad, articulando siempre la lectura crítica con la difusión de material seleccionado desde un criterio estético y teórico. Por caso, en la traducción de Sad Face, Happy Face, del belga Jan Lauwers, juegan un papel muy importante el aspecto de la oralidad y la puesta en página del texto, rasgos que orientan nuestra actual indagación. En la edición tuvimos en cuenta tanto el efecto que se busca producir en el lector del texto en la lengua original y en la traducción, así como la relación entre la obra literaria y la puesta en escena.
