In order to account for the constitutive processes of the subjectivity of this character, the links between the autós and the bios of that discourse are analyzed, also the links between the autós and the grapho, and the traces of the dialogue with the Other. The resulting self-image is that of a subjectivity whose eccentricity is marked by its distance with respect to two ideological paradigms which were at the time a measure of intelligibility of the person: the Catholic moral and sexual difference as defined by heterosexist thougth. That subjectivity is also marked by the dialogical relations with others, which destabilize and re-articulate previous self-images of the narrator character. The characteristics of the narrator’s subjectivity replace the modern notion of subject by the category of social agent: an entity not homogeneous but multiple, contradictory and contingent, always susceptible to change. Thus, the novel poses the challenge of thinking the subject in different terms from those of our automated patterns of intelligibility. El soliloquio de quien narra funciona como discurso autobiográfico que construye una imagen identitaria singular. Se analizan las relaciones del autós de dicho discurso con el bios, las del autós con el grapho, y las huellas de la interlocución del Otro, para dar cuenta de los procesos constitutivos de la subjetividad de este personaje.La imagen de sí resultante es la de una subjetividad excéntrica pues se construye sobre paradójicas relaciones con dos paradigmas ideológicos que en su tiempo funcionaban como parámetro de inteligibilidad de la persona: la moral católica y la diferencia sexual heterosexista. También aparece como una subjetividad interlocuada pues las relaciones dialógicas con los demás desestabilizan y rearticulan previas imágenes que de sí tenía quien narra.La subjetividad excéntrica e interlocuada de quien narra reemplaza la noción moderna de sujeto por la categoría de agente social: una entidad no homogénea sino múltiple,  contradictoria y contingente, siempre susceptible a las transformaciones.De este modo, la novela desafía a pensar al sujeto en términos diferentes a los de nuestros automatizados patrones de inteligibilidad.
