Starting with the fact that there is a conditioning relationship between the social place from which the discursive practice is done and the options the autor analyses in his discourse, we believe the writer has accomplished and efficient use of the resources he has picked up throughout his trajectory as a social subject, taking into account the limitations and possibilities he had at the moment he wrote it. From this perspective, we pretend to identify in the novel, the discourse operations the autor has chosen as the most plausible for the construction of the statement, within the crime fiction genre, supporting its use in reasons inferred from objective conditions, taking into consideration the skills gathered by the autor during his profesional career and the possibilities of acceptance. En el marco de la propuesta teórico/metodológica elaborada por los dres Mozejko y Costa, el presente trabajo intenta poner en relación la novela de Guillermo Martínez Crímenes Imperceptibles, con la posición del autor como sujeto social dentro del sistema de relaciones desde el cual actúa, especialmente dentro del campo literario, a fin de hacer comprensibles y explicables las opciones discursivas realizadas en la obra citada. Partiendo del hecho de que hay una relación condicionante entre el lugar social desde el cual se lleva a cabo la práctica discursiva y las opciones que el escritor realiza en su discurso, creemos que el escritor ha hecho en esta novela un uso eficiente de los recursos que ha adquirido en su trayectoria como sujeto social, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones y posibilidades con que cuenta al momento de escribirla.  Desde esta perspectiva, pretendemos identificar en la novela las operaciones discursivas que el escritor ha elegido como más rentables para la construcción del enunciado, dentro del género policial, fundando su empleo en razones inferidas de condiciones objetivas, habida cuenta del capital acumulado por el escritor en su trayectoria profesional y teniendo en cuenta sus probabilidades de aceptabilidad.
