Sumario:In the following pages I will try to underline the singularity of the critical figure of the body, or even the specificity of the body as criticism, in some of Antonio Manuel’s works from the sixties and seventies. In the artist’s body, in its appearance – that is, as an aesthetic emergency – an event is configured in which the ethical question par excellence – the decision – is put into play, as a vindication of a possible life.
