Sumario:This article presents the synchronicities and singularities in the university pedagogical advisory service, as assessed by a research project funded by FAPESP and CNPq, in which eight Brazilian and four foreign universities took part. Methodologically, after approval by the Ethics Committee, field research was carried out with institutional managers, pedagogical advisors and teachers who were or were not participating in institutional didactic-pedagogical training programs. The results show that there are singularities in the pedagogical advisory service, albeit in different institutional cultures, but the movement towards valuing the work and sustainability of the spaces responsible for in-service training is synchronous.
