Sumario:Thinking about the connection in terms of the current Latin American economic, political, social and cultural contexts and from an idea of development with social inclusion as a driving force, requires imagining innovative, non-imitation models that, from a conception of the virtuous triangle that articulates the State, University and production sectors, include popular economies, social movements and organizations that support socio-productive ventures in the various territories of the region, as imagined by Sábato and Botana, among others. The articles in this dossier open up to an interesting conceptual analysis and experiences regarding the difficulties, tensions and possibilities in linking the academy with the wide world of the so-called productive sectors.
