It is still a partnership in the process of construction. The technological revolution and the rapid changes that are taking place in the Age of Knowledge and Innovation will speed up the steps of this indispensable integration. Companies have sectors and initiatives for training and qualifying their human capital, where school practice is integrated into the company's daily operations. However, the reciprocal is not yet true. The university and the school need to adopt the business culture and good management practices. The model of the traditional academic university is exhausted. It will have to change to survive. Make more room for the relevance of technology. An entrepreneurial university as the addition of a fifth mission? Or, the enlargement and empowerment of knowledge, by expanding its action and becoming a Multiversity?

Este ensayo pretende reflexionar críticamente sobre la evolución de la relación universidad-empresa en la realidad brasileña, que en cierto modo repite la incipiente articulación vigente en América Latina. Todavía es una asociación en proceso de construcción. La revolución tecnológica y los rápidos cambios registrados en la Era del Conocimiento y la Innovación acelerarán los pasos de esta indispensable integración. Las empresas cuentan con sectores de formación y cualificación de su capital humano, donde la práctica escolar forma parte del funcionamiento diario de la empresa. Sin embargo, lo recíproco aún no es cierto. La universidad y la escuela deben adoptar la cultura empresarial y las buenas prácticas de gestión. El modelo de la universidad académica tradicional está agotado. Tendrá que cambiar para sobrevivir. Dar más espacio a la relevancia de la tecnología. ¿Una universidad empresarial como complemento de una quinta misión? ¿O la multiplicación y potencialización del conocimiento, ampliando sus actividades y convirtiéndose en una Multiversidad? Este ensaio tenta refletir, criticamente, a evolução da relação universidade/empresa na realidade brasileira que, de certa forma, repete a incipiente articulação vigente na América Latina. Ainda se trata de uma parceria em processo de construção. A revolução tecnológica e as céleres mudanças que se registram na Era do Conhecimento e Inovação irão apressar os passos desta indispensável integração, uma vez que as empresas dispõem de setores de formação e capacitação do seu capital humano em que a prática escolar integra a operação cotidiana da empresa. No entanto, a recíproca ainda não é verdadeira. A universidade e a escola precisam adotar a cultura empresarial e as boas práticas gerenciais de administrar. O modelo da universidade acadêmica tradicional se exauriu. Terá de mudar para sobreviver. Abrir espaço maior para a relevância da tecnologia. Uma universidade empreendedora como acréscimo de uma quinta missão? Ou a multiplicação e potencialização do saber ao expandir sua atuação e transformar-se em Multiversidade?
