I hope that your reading will serve to stimulate reflections and debates that contribute to join efforts to eradicate racism in Higher Education and, more broadly, in educational systems and in our societies. Esta colección de artículos muestra cómo la persistencia del racismo afecta los derechos educativos de personas y comunidades afrodescendientes y de pueblos indígenas en América Latina, y analiza los alcances y limitaciones de algunas políticas establecidas para asegurarlos, así como algunas tensiones y desafíos que se presentan en este campo de luchas. Espero que su lectura sirva para estimular reflexiones y debates que contribuyan a aunar esfuerzos para erradicar el racismo en la Educación Superior y, más ampliamente, en los sistemas educativos y en nuestras sociedades. Esta coleção de artigos mostra como a persistência do racismo afeta os direitos educacionais dos povos e comunidades afrodescendentes e indígenas na América Latina, e analisa o alcance e as limitações de algumas políticas estabelecidas para garanti-los, bem como algumas tensões e desafios que surgem neste campo de lutas. Espero que sua leitura sirva para estimular reflexões e debates que contribuam para somar esforços para erradicar o racismo no Ensino Superior e, de forma mais ampla, nos sistemas educacionais e em nossas sociedades.
