The reflections were built from a decolonial perspective around inequalities and exclusions brought about by the system of hegemonic globalization and its tensions. The studies about interculturality aim to transform the way that minorities are seen, to bring different perspectives to the debate and also to give voice to the knowledge of peoples and cultures, so that, instead of continuing as a universe, a pluriverse can be created. The pluriverse as a locus in which humans and non-humans are interconnected and aim at equality and respect for each other, changing the way people relate, aiming at the recognition and valorization of diverse knowledge.  El objetivo de este ensayo es problematizar el universo y el pluriverso en el contexto de la globalización hegemónica, así como reflexionar cómo la interculturalidad puede abrir espacios para el diálogo y la solidaridad. Las reflexiones fueron construidas desde una perspectiva decolonial sobre las desigualdades y exclusiones provocadas por el sistema de globalización hegemónica y sus tensiones. Los estudios interculturales tienen como objetivo transformar la forma en que se ven las minorías, traer diferentes perspectivas al debate y dar voz a los saberes y conocimientos de los pueblos y las culturas, para que, en vez de continuar como un universo, se pueda crear un pluriverso. El pluriverso como un locus en el que los humanos y los no humanos están interconectados y apuntan a la igualdad y al respeto por los otros, modificando la manera en que las personas se relacionan, con vistas al reconocimiento y la valorización de saberes diversos.  O objetivo deste ensaio é problematizar o universo e o pluriverso no contexto da globalização hegemônica, bem como refletir como a interculturalidade pode abrir espaços ao diálogo e à solidariedade. As reflexões foram construídas a partir de uma perspectiva decolonial acerca de desigualdades e exclusões acarretadas pelo sistema de globalização hegemônica e seus tensionamentos. Os estudos sobre interculturalidade visam transformar o modo como minorias são vistas, trazer ao debate olhares diversos e dar voz aos saberes e conhecimentos de povos e culturas, para que, ao invés de continuar como universo possa se criar um pluriverso. O pluriverso como locus no qual humanos e não-humanos estejam interconectados e visem a igualdade e o respeito pela outridade, modificando o modo como as pessoas se relacionam, visando o reconhecimento e a valorização de saberes diversos.
