Sumario:Computational Thinking, a while ago, is being incorporated into educational spaces. However, not much is known of its inclusion in the teaching of Biology. That is why we sought to incorporate this thought, through the language of Scratch programming, into the teaching of Genetic Engineering. To do this, they worked in a 5th year (N = 34) of a High school in the Córdoba (Argentina) for 6 consecutive weeks. During this period, a didactic sequence was developed and data were collected and then analyzed following a qualitative methodology, carrying out a methodological triangulation. The main results show that the use of Scratch favors the development of some Computational Thinking skills while students model to learn about Genetic Engineering.
