The main objective is to compare the style of play belonging to the neighborhoods and amateur players of the privileged classes. For this, we will highlight the production of knowledge based on ethnographic fieldwork, participant observations and interviews. Este artículo explora las relaciones entre deporte y clases sociales, a través de una etnografía de la práctica del golf en Villa Allende (Córdoba). La complejidad de la diversidad de agentes que realizan este deporte, es analizada a través de la figura de los caddies, las personas responsables de llevar los palos de golf a los jugadores durante un torneo, práctica o entrenamiento de este deporte. El foco de análisis recae sobre los contrastes en el estilo de juego que observan los jugadores oriundos de sectores populares y los jugadores aficionados de clases privilegiadas. La etnografía acerca en este artículo las virtudes para encauzar el análisis a partir de observaciones, entrevistas y experiencias de campo, fases del trabajo que articulan los argumentos de la interpretación.
