Based on the analysis of field notes, three main axes are addressed: 1) the evolution of the research problem, influenced by ethnographic work; 2) the challenges of researching pesticide use in a country with an agro-export model, considering the resistances that emerge when inquiring about pesticides; and 3) the limits, opportunities, and tensions of being a cisgender researcher in a predominantly male context. It is concluded that fieldwork requires a reflexive approach that considers intersectionality (gender, ethnicity, and class) and the construction of social bonds as a way to understand different realities and generate new perspectives. Este artículo reflexiona metodológicamente sobre la experiencia de trabajo de campo en el marco de mis investigaciones para la obtención de los títulos de magíster en Antropología Social y doctora en Geografía. A partir del análisis de notas de campo, se abordan tres ejes principales: 1) la evolución del problema de investigación, influenciada por el trabajo etnográfico; 2) los desafíos de investigar el uso de agrotóxicos en un país con un modelo agroexportador, dadas las resistencias que emergen al indagar sobre pesticidas; y 3) los límites, oportunidades y tensiones de ser una investigadora cisgénero en un contexto predominantemente masculino. Se concluye que el trabajo de campo requiere un enfoque reflexivo que considere la interseccionalidad (género, etnia y clase) y la construcción de vínculos sociales como vía para comprender distintas realidades y generar nuevas perspectivas. Este artigo reflete metodologicamente sobre a experiência do trabalho de campo como parte da minha pesquisa de mestrado em Antropologia Social e doutorado em Geografia. Com base na análise das anotações de campo, são abordados três eixos principais: 1) a evolução do problema de pesquisa, influenciada pelo trabalho etnográfico; 2) os desafios de pesquisar o uso de pesticidas em um país com um modelo agroexportador, dada a resistência que surge ao investigar pesticidas; e 3) os limites, as oportunidades e as tensões de ser uma pesquisadora cisgênero em um contexto predominantemente masculino. Conclui-se que o trabalho de campo exige uma abordagem reflexiva que considere a interseccionalidade (gênero, etnia e classe) e a construção de vínculos sociais como forma de compreender diferentes realidades e gerar novas perspectivas.
