Both reconfigured in a diverse way the relationships between origin and ethnic, religious, and cultural identity, up to the present. These preliminary notes present the particular context of Berisso, characterized by the strength of immigrant labor, in the face of the modernist-enlightenment foundation of the city of La Plata as capital of the province of Buenos Aires. We approached the institutions that represent both communities with the objective of describing the social networks and written media that account for their community relations, and interviewing some social actors linked to both institutions. Presentamos una aproximación al estudio de la trayectoria de dos comunidades religiosas fundadas por inmigrantes en Berisso, a comienzos del siglo XX. Ambas reconfiguraron de modo diverso las relaciones entre origen e identidad étnica, religiosa, cultural, hasta el presente. Estas notas preliminares presentan el contexto particular de Berisso, caracterizado por la fuerza del trabajo inmigrante, frente a la fundación modernista-iluminista de la ciudad de La Plata como capital de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Teniendo en cuenta esa especificidad realizamos una aproximación a las instituciones que representan a ambas comunidades con el objetivo de relevar las redes sociales y medios de comunicación que dieran cuenta de sus relaciones comunitarias, y entrevistar a algunos actores sociales vinculados a ambas instituciones. Apresentamos uma abordagem ao estudo da trajetória de duas comunidades religiosas fundadas por imigrantes em Berisso, no início do século XX. Ambos reconfiguraram de forma diversa as relações entre origem e identidade étnica, religiosa e cultural, até a atualidade. Estas notas preliminares apresentam o contexto particular de Berisso, caracterizado pela força da mão de obra imigrante, diante da fundação iluminista-modernista da cidade de La Plata como capital da província de Buenos Aires. Tendo em conta esta especificidade, realizámos uma abordagem às instituições que representam ambas as comunidades com o objectivo de fazer um levantamento das redes sociais e dos meios de comunicação escritos que dão conta das suas relações comunitárias, e entrevistar alguns actores sociais ligados a ambas as instituições.
