The purpose of this article is to improve the pedagogical profile from the didactic and intercultural elements present in the Shuar ethnographic exhibition of the Tsantsa of the Pumapungo Museum, in order to train students as intercultural citizens. A qualitative method with a descriptive, exploratory, and interpretative approach is used, with a case study based on the techniques of semi-structured interviews and focused groups. The work identifies the existing specialized literature on Shuar communities and describes their ethnographic, anthropological, cultural, artistic, and spiritual aspects. It also explores the museum exhibition of the Shuar ceremonies of Tsantsa, which allows interpreting its pedagogical value and management of the interculturality transversal line. The interviews are analyzed with the Atlas ti Qualitative Data Analysis software, and the results are discussed under a critical intercultural educational philosophy. The conclusion is that museums are valued as academic actors that promote intercultural citizenship without falling into the reification or standardization of Ecuadorian cultural diversity. |

El objetivo del artículo es fortalecer el perfil profesional docente desde los elementos didácticos e interculturales presentes en la exposición etnográfica Shuar de la Tsantsa del Museo Pumapungo, con el fin de formar a los estudiantes como ciudadanos interculturales. Se utiliza un método cualitativo de carácter descriptivo, exploratorio e interpretativo, con un estudio de caso fundamentado en las técnicas de entrevistas semiestructuradas y grupo focal. El trabajo identifica la literatura especializada en comunidades Shuar y describe sus aspectos etnográficos, antropológicos, culturales, artísticos y espirituales. También explora la exhibición museística de las ceremonias Shuar de tsantsa, lo que permite interpretar su valor pedagógico y gestión del eje transversal de interculturalidad. Se analizan las entrevistas con el software Atlas ti Qualitative Data Analysis y se discuten los resultados bajo una filosofía educativa intercultural crítica. Se concluye con la valorización de los museos como actores educativos que fomentan la ciudadanía intercultural, sin caer en la cosificación o estandarización de la diversidad cultural ecuatoriana. O objetivo do artigo é fortalecer o perfil profissional dos professores a partir dos elementos didáticos e interculturais presentes na exposição etnográfica Shuar dos Tsantsa do Museu Pumapungo, a fim de formar os alunos como cidadãos interculturais. É utilizado um método qualitativo descritivo, exploratório e interpretativo, com um estudo de caso baseado nas técnicas de entrevistas semiestruturadas e grupos focais. O trabalho identifica a literatura especializada nas comunidades Shuar e descreve seus aspectos etnográficos, antropológicos, culturais, artísticos e espirituais. Também explora a exposição museológica das cerimônias Shuar tsantsa, o que nos permite interpretar seu valor pedagógico e a gestão do eixo transversal da interculturalidade. As entrevistas são analisadas com o software Atlas ti Qualitative Data Analysis e os resultados são discutidos sob uma filosofia educacional intercultural crítica.
