The goal of this paper is to evaluate the existence of variations in the direct procurement of RGFO PKA in a portion of the interfluve. To do so, we present a methodological proposal that includes network analysis and other statistical methods in order to ranking lithic sources in the study area based on variations in travel times and the probability of success in obtaining the rock. The results achieved allow us to establish variable implications in technological decisions and land-use modes for the different sectors of the study area. This proposal has the potential to be replicated on larger scales and for other lithic raw materials.

La roca de grano fino oscura tipo Potrok Aike (RGFO PKA) fue la más utilizada por los cazadores-recolectores para confeccionar artefactos en el campo volcánico Pali Aike (CVPA), Patagonia meridional. A pesar de la importancia regional del recurso lítico, su distribución natural se restringe principalmente al interfluvio Gallegos-Chico, por lo que es un sector clave para comprender las estrategias de obtención y uso de la materia prima. En este trabajo se evalúa la existencia de variaciones en el aprovisionamiento directo de la RGFO PKA en una porción del interfluvio. Para ello elaboramos una propuesta metodológica que incluye análisis de redes y otros procedimientos estadísticos con el fin de jerarquizar las fuentes del área de estudio a partir de las variaciones en los tiempos de viaje y la probabilidad de éxito en la obtención de la roca. Los resultados alcanzados permiten establecer implicancias variables en las decisiones tecnológicas y los modos de uso del espacio para los distintos sectores del área de estudio. Esta propuesta tiene el potencial de ser replicada en escalas mayores y para otras materias primas líticas. A rocha escura de granulação fina do tipo Potrok Aike (RGFO PKA) foi a mais comumente usada pelos caçadores-coletores para fazer artefatos no campo vulcânico Pali Aike (CVPA), no sul da Patagônia. Apesar da importância regional desse recurso lítico, sua distribuição natural se restringe principalmente ao interflúvio Gallegos-Chico, o que o torna um setor fundamental para a compreensão das estratégias de obtenção e uso da matéria-prima. Neste trabalho, avaliamos a existência de variações no fornecimento direto da RGFO PKA em uma parte do interflúvio. Para isso, desenvolvemos uma proposta metodológica que inclui análise de rede e outros procedimentos estatísticos para classificar as fontes na área de estudo de acordo com as variações nos tempos de viagem e a probabilidade de sucesso na obtenção da rocha. Os resultados obtidos nos permitem estabelecer implicações variáveis nas decisões tecnológicas e nos modos de uso do espaço para os diferentes setores da área de estudo.
