Although in Argentina there are institutions and a national regulatory framework for the protection of cultural heritage, as well as specific provincial organisms and regulations for each jurisdiction, in the province of Buenos Aires the destination of a large part of the heritage assets is strongly conditioned by the policies applied at a local scale.Under this premise, the present work seeks to reconstruct the cultural policies, in general, and patrimonial policies, in particular, applied in the Olavarria County since the return of democracy until 2020. From this exercise, the impact they have had on the different cultural assets of the party over time is analyzed. For this, the methods of documentary analysis and in-depth interviews with key informants are used. The analysis developed shows the impact of the commitment of political leaders and the continuity in the implementation of cultural policies in the safeguarding of cultural heritage.

La salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural esta fuertemente condicionada por la implementación y continuidad, o discontinuidad, de las políticas culturales que los gobiernos aplican sobre los bienes. Si bien en Argentina existen instituciones y un marco normativo nacional para la protección del patrimonio cultural, así como organismos y regulaciones provinciales específicas para cada jurisdicción, en la provincia de Buenos Aires el destino de gran parte de los bienes del patrimonio está fuertemente condicionado por las políticas aplicadas a nivel local.Bajo esta premisa en el presente trabajo se busca reconstruir las políticas culturales, en general, y patrimoniales, en particular, aplicadas en el Partido de Olavarría desde el retorno de la democracia hasta el año 2020. A partir de este ejercicio, se analiza el impacto que las mismas han tenido sobre los diferentes bienes culturales del partido a lo largo del tiempo. Para ello, se recurre a los métodos de análisis documental y entrevistas en profundidad a informantes clave.El análisis desarrollado demuestra el impacto del compromiso de los dirigentes políticos y de la continuidad en la implementación de políticas culturales en la salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural. A salvaguarda do patrimônio cultural está fortemente condicionada à implementação e continuidade, ou descontinuidade, das políticas culturais que os governos aplicam às propriedades. Embora na Argentina existam instituições e um marco regulatório nacional para a proteção do patrimônio cultural, bem como órgãos provinciais e normas específicas de cada jurisdição, na província de Buenos Aires a destinação de grande parte dos modestos bens patrimoniais está fortemente condicionada pelas políticas aplicadas ao nível local. Sob esta premissa, o presente trabalho busca reconstruir as políticas culturais, em geral, e as políticas patrimoniais, em particular, aplicadas no Partido Olavarría desde o retorno da democracia até 2020. A partir deste exercício, analisa-se o impacto a ter sobre os diferentes bens culturais da festa temporalmente. Para isso, são utilizados os métodos de análise documental e entrevistas em profundidade com informantes-chave. A análise desenvolvida mostra o impacto do compromisso das lideranças políticas e da continuidade na implementação das políticas patrimoniais na salvaguarda do patrimônio cultural.
