This has been brought to the forefront and has been put into sharp focus after the Health Emergency of 2020. As housing is now a place where office and educational activities must be developed, in addition to residential activities, it has been lacking acoustically conditioned spaces for such activities, having repercussions on the physical, mental and emotional health of users, as well as on the performance of these new functions with significant economic and social impact. The objective of this work is to diagnose and characterize the current conditions, both interior and exterior, of a high-rise dwelling in order to evaluate the acoustic insulation of its envelope and to generate optimal possible alternatives for the acoustic envelope of high-rise residences in San Miguel de Tucumán.
