The project has two main actions: workshops, coordinated by cinema professionals and teachers, and the laboratory for experimentation and resources´ generation. Alongside describing workshops´ development and the project´s organization, this article exposes the cinematographic and pedagogic principles behind Cinema en curs. In this respect, the contact with reality and its rediscovering occupies a central place. The initial and final activities of these workshops are explained in greater detail: the Lumieres´s minutes, at the beginning of the workshops, and the production of a short film at the end. Cinema en curs / Cine en curso es un proyecto de pedagogía del cine que se desarrolla en escuelas e institutos de Cataluña (España) desde 2005-2006. El proyecto tiene dos grandes vertientes: los talleres, impartidos conjuntamente por profesionales del cine y docentes, y el laboratorio de experimentación y generación de recursos. Además de resumir el desarrollo de los talleres y la organización del proyecto, en el artículo se exponen los principios cinematográficos y pedagógicos de Cine en curso, en los que el contacto y redescubrimiento de la realidad ocupa un lugar central. Se explican con mayor detenimiento la práctica inicial de los talleres –los Minutos Lumière– y el trabajo de creación de los cortometrajes que los alumnos realizan durante la etapa final de éstos.
