These means of production and distribution –collective or anonymous authorship, use of copyleft licenses, free online distribution– although not new, have undergone a massive explosion in recent years. These characteristics alongside with the videos´ aesthetics –collage, appropriation of material– are essential constituents of their political commitment. La producción de video en internet vinculada con la reciente ola de protestas post-primavera árabe ofrece modelos alternativos de producción y distribución del audiovisual, distintos a los comerciales. Estas formas de producción y distribución –autoría colectiva o anónima, uso de licencias copyleft, visualización libre– aunque no son nuevas, sí han vivido una explosión masiva en años recientes.
