Nonetheless, it was, until now, unavailable on the web and difficult to find in libraries. For this reason we decided, with the permission of its author, to republish it in this first issue of Toma Uno. We are grateful to Raul Beceyro for this generous contribution. RESUMEN DE LOS EDITORESEste artículo fue publicado originalmente en la Revista Punto de vista en agosto de 1994. No es difícil constatar, dado el número de veces que aparece citado en otros textos, que a pesar del tiempo transcurrido no ha perdido su actualidad a la hora de pensar los problemas que hacen a la representación cinematográfica de acontecimientos históricos. No obstante esto, el artículo no estaba hasta ahora disponible en la web y era complicado encontrarlo en bibliotecas. Por este motivo decidimos, con la autorización de su autor, reeditarlo en este primer número de Toma Uno. Agradecemos a Raúl Beceyro su generoso aporte.
