In addition to the joy of meeting again in such a significant and beloved place, there were three others: the fact that it is a book, accessible to everyone on the web in its digital version, but at the same time printed on paper, as a way of giving materiality to thought; that it is the result of a process that integrates reflection and writing with teaching (in the seminar of the FFyH with the same name); finally, that its pages combine the love for cinema, typical of cinephilia, with academic study, two worlds that do not always coincide. En diciembre de 2021, en un incipiente final de la pandemia, nos encontramos en el patio del Cineclub Municipal para la presentación del tercer libro del equipo de “Cine, Política y Derechos Humanos”, integrado por docentes de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades y de la Facultad de Artes de nuestra universidad. A la alegría de volver a encontrarnos en un lugar tan significativo y tan querido, se sumaban otras tres: el hecho de que sea un libro, accesible a todxs en la web en su versión digital, pero a la vez impreso en papel, como forma de dotar de materialidad al pensamiento; que sea el resultado de un proceso que integra la reflexión y la escritura con la docencia (en el seminario de la FFyH con este mismo nombre); finalmente, que en sus páginas se conjuguen el amor por el cine, propio de la cinefilia, con el estudio académico, dos mundos que no siempre suelen coincidir.
