The content of the work may be useful for math teachers as complementary and additional material for their lectures En este trabajo los teoremas del valor medio de Lagrange y Cauchy para funciones reales de variable real son extendidos, incluyendo el caso de la función compuesta. Para ello se sigue un razonamiento inductivo, partiendo de la exploración de casos particulares hasta llegar a una expresión general, procediendo por tanto de lo particular a lo general. El contenido del trabajo puede ser de utilidad para docentes de Matemática como material complementario y de ampliación en sus clases.
