Through a survey of experiences from the period 2018-2021, the design of a self-administered survey disseminated among the participating students and the implementation of a discussion group, the motivations and forms of learning, the particularities of teamwork, the time required by these proposals, the ways of relating theory and practice, the teacher-student bond and with social actors, the forms of evaluation and the implications of the pandemic and the health emergency in the development of the experiences are analyzed. Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación que explora las percepciones y perspectivas de los/as estudiantes de la Facultad de Información y Comunicación (FIC) de la Universidad de la República (Udelar) respecto a sus experiencias de extensión a lo largo de la carrera. A través de un relevamiento de experiencias del período 2018-2021, el diseño de una encuesta autoadministrada difundida entre los/as estudiantes participantes y la implementación de un grupo de discusión, se analizan las motivaciones y formas de aprendizajes, las particularidades del trabajo en equipo, los tiempos que exigen estas propuestas, los modos de relacionar teoría y práctica, el vínculo docente-estudiante y con los actores sociales, las formas de evaluación y las implicancias de la pandemia y la emergencia sanitaria en el desarrollo de las experiencias. Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa que explora as percepções e perspectivas dos alunos da Faculdade de Informação e Comunicação (FIC) da Universidade da República (Udelar) em relação às suas experiências de extensão ao longo de suas carreiras. Por meio de um levantamento de experiências do período 2018-2021, do desenho de uma pesquisa autoadministrada divulgada entre os alunos participantes e da implementação de um grupo de discussão, são analisadas as motivações e formas de aprendizagem, as particularidades do trabalho em equipe, o tempo necessário para essas propostas, as formas de relacionar teoria e prática, o vínculo professor-aluno e com atores sociais, as formas de avaliação e as implicações da pandemia e da emergência sanitária no desenvolvimento das experiências.
