Maintaining this general frame made up of memories of peasant and indigenous groups which denounce a continuum of the counterinsurgent and neoliberal violences, in this article I analyze this process from a different approach. Focusing on the (re)creation of the hegemonic imaginary and its spatialization and taking into account its “productive” or “creative” effects on social relations and space, I carry out a bibliographic and documentary review of the period between the armed uprising (1994) and the “Indigenous Law” (2001), through which I describe the Low Intensity War and the effects of (para)militarization and of the legal reforms, which I propose to understand as complementary channels of action, into the refounding of order and the authoritarian production of space.
