However, the economic and economic policy dimension in its intellectual references still constitutes a dimension that has been scarcely explored, although in recent years several studies have been developed that point to these dimensions. This paper deals with the publication Patria Argentina (1986-1989), which can be understood as an important proclamation of local nationalism in the years of the return to democracy. In addition, this publication has few direct approaches, especially on the economic discussions that it opened in those years of crisis that was coordinated by the economist Walter Beveraggi-Allende. The analysis is carried out taking into account the classic contributions of the history of magazines, and the most current ones focused on articulating the economic discussion with tools of political and cultural history. In this sense, the editorial project of the publication is reconstructed, its antecedents, outstanding trajectories and other variables that allow framing the historical approach of the magazine. Then, it goes on to the specific analysis of the economic debate and economic policy coordinated by Patria Argentina. It was concluded that, despite the scarce variety of economists in the magazine, this was a dimension that occupied a significant place in it and that synthesized a comprehensive look at national and world economic relations that, driven by Beveraggi-Allende, it explained local debates about economic policy in a nationalistic sense.

No obstante, la dimensión económica y de política económica en sus referentes intelectuales todavía constituye una dimensión escasamente explorada, aunque en los últimos años vienen desarrollándose varios estudios que apuntan a esas dimensiones. En este trabajo se aborda la publicación Patria Argentina (1986-1989), que puede entenderse como una importante proclama del nacionalismo local en los años del regreso a la democracia. Además, esta publicación cuenta con escasos abordajes directos, especialmente sobre las discusiones económicas que abriera en aquellos años de crisis que estuvo coordinada por el economista Walter Beveraggi-Allende. El análisis se realiza atendiendo a los aportes clásicos de la historia de las revistas, y los más actuales centrados en articular la discusión económica con herramientas de la historia política y cultural. En este sentido, se reconstruye el proyecto editorial de la publicación, sus antecedentes, trayectorias destacadas y otras variables que permiten encuadrar el abordaje histórico de la revista. Luego, se pasa al análisis específico del debate económico y de política económica coordinado Patria Argentina. Se concluyó en que, a pesar de la escasa variedad de economistas en la revista, esta fue una dimensión que ocupó un lugar significativo en la misma y que sintetizó una mirada integral sobre las relaciones económicas nacionales y mundiales que, motorizada por Beveraggi-Allende, explicaba los debates locales sobre la política económica con un sentido nacionalista.
