Sumario:This article aims to analyze the impact produced by the change of neoliberal policies to a neo-developmental model in Tierra del Fuego. In this context, the period from 2003 to 2015 is attended, in which the prominence of industrial promotion as the axis of capitalist economic development of the province is recovered. With it, the main transformations in the composition of the occupational, population and productive structure will be appreciated. These transformations also have their correlation in the changes of the local State, becoming a capitalist State. For this, the work is developed methodologically from a macrosocial level based on the narrative-historical model, having the province of Tierra del Fuego as a case study. In this sense, the study is based on a plot scheme in which empirical theory and generalizations from documentary sources, statistics and interviews to key informants were articulated
