In this context, the period from 2003 to 2015 is attended, in which the prominence of industrial promotion as the axis of capitalist economic development of the province is recovered. With it, the main transformations in the composition of the occupational, population and productive structure will be appreciated. These transformations also have their correlation in the changes of the local State, becoming a capitalist State. For this, the work is developed methodologically from a macrosocial level based on the narrative-historical model, having the province of Tierra del Fuego as a case study. In this sense, the study is based on a plot scheme in which empirical theory and generalizations from documentary sources, statistics and interviews to key informants were articulated Este artículo se propone analizar el impacto producido por el cambio de políticas neoliberales a un modelo neo desarrollista en Tierra del Fuego. En este contexto se atiende al período 2003 a 2015 en el que se recupera la prominencia de la promoción industrial como eje de desarrollo económico capitalista de la provincia. Con él se apreciarán las principales transformaciones en la composición de la estructura ocupacional, poblacional y productiva. Estas transformaciones también tienen su correlato en los cambios del Estado local, transformándose en un Estado capitalista. Para ello el trabajo se desarrolla metodológicamente desde un plano macrosocial basado en el modelo narrativo-histórico, teniendo a la provincia de Tierra del Fuego, como un estudio de caso. En este sentido el estudio se basa en un esquema argumental en el que se articularon teoría y generalizaciones empíricas provenientes de fuentes documentales, estadísticas y entrevistas a informantes clave.
