To this end, it is based on research in newspapers and on Lysânea's personal archive, in addition to CMI documents that allow us to shed light on this post-cassation trajectory, a period about which little is known. sta investigación aborda la trayectoria de Lysâneas Maciel en la defensa de los derechos humanos en la dictadura militar brasileña y tiene dos objetivos principales: mostrar, a través de sus acciones, la existencia de una fuerte oposición en el Congreso brasileño, de 1971 a 1976, cuando era diputado federal por el entonces estado de Guanabara, y también en el exilio, cuando, vinculado al Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) en Ginebra, continuó su trayectoria de oposición a la represión. Su trabajo se basa en la investigación de los periódicos y los archivos personales de Lysâneas, así como en los documentos del CMI que arrojan luz sobre esta actividad posterior al asesinato, un período del que se sabe poco. Esta pesquisa aborda a trajetória de Lysâneas Maciel em defesa dos direitos humanos na ditadura militar brasileira e tem dois objetivos principais: mostrar, através de sua atuação, a existência de uma oposição contundente no interior do Congresso Brasileiro, no período de 1971 a 1976, intervalo em que foi deputado federal pelo então Estado da Guanabara, e também no exílio, quando, vinculado ao Conselho Mundial de Igrejas (CMI), em Genebra, deu continuidade a sua trajetória de oposição à repressão. Para tal, baseia-se em pesquisas em jornais e no arquivo pessoal de Lysâneas, além de documentos do CMI que permitem lançar luz sobre essa atuação pós-cassação, período sobre o qual pouco se sabe.
