We study the habitus of people from the region that has received lots of migrants from Europe during the XIX century and the first half of the XX century.We study especially some small towns of the department Las Colonias from Santa Fe province. We make a list of the people disappeared from the region and recover the underground memories about them. In fact, we discuss the idea that “in small towns, in the inner of Argentina, nothing happened during the terrorism of state”.From a qualitative perspective, we use different sources of information, mainly oral interviews to people from Las Colonias that thinks they lived a “normal” life during the last dictatorship.   En este artículo analizamos las memorias de los desaparecidos de la última dictadura cívico- militar argentina que circulan en la llamada “pampa gringa”. Con este objeto, caracterizamos el habitus de los pobladores de la región, que ha tenido y tiene una fuerte impronta inmigratoria europea, focalizando en una serie de localidades del departamento Las Colonias de la provincia de Santa Fe. Asimismo, reconstruimos el listado de desaparecidos de la región y recuperamos las memorias subterráneas que aluden a sus historias de vida. De este modo, rebatimos la difundida sentencia conforme a la cual “en los pueblos chicos, del interior, no pasó nada durante el terrorismo de estado”.Desde una perspectiva cualitativa, trabajamos con una pluralidad de fuentes, entre las que se destacan las entrevistas orales realizadas a habitantes del departamento Las Colonias que manifiestan haber vivido con “normalidad” durante la última dictadura cívico-militar.   Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
