This process, controlled by big corporations from central countries, makes possible the perception of a field of opportunity and, at the same time, a political risk which derived into the multiple trajectories of transnationality. The methodological approach is qualitative and historical. Este artigo se propõe a relacionar, do ponto de vista do conceito de sistema-mundo moderno de Wallerstein e da teoria de processo político de Tarrow e Tilly, a questão da integração regional latino-americana como um dos desdobramentos políticos do processo de globalização do mercado, controlado pelas grandes corporações dos Estados centrais, que possibilitou às redes sociais heterogêneas a percepção de uma abertura de oportunidade e ameaça política que as conduziu pelas múltiplas trajetórias da transnacionalidade.
