Sumario:After the Sandinist Revolution triumph, (19 July 1979), the new government had to confront a counter- revolutionary war supported and financed by the US government. This situation gave rise to many solidarity expressions from organizations and countries around the world. Thus, many political and civil groups (political parties, trade unions, Non-governmental organizations, ecclesiastic organizations) pronounced themselves in favor of Nicaragua, expressing their solidarity in different ways: the creation of solidarity committees, protests, donations, sending of international brigades, etc. Also, the international solidarity became a front of the battle for de Sandinist government that needed to stop the counter- revolutionary and American aggression, to legitimate and to strengthen the revolution. In this way, and as a part of this solidarity movement, Brazilian political and civil organizations cooperated too. Based on this, we propose to rebuild and to examine some Brazilian solidarity expressions; analyzing written and oral sources collected in Brazil, Nicaragua and Argentina.
