This situation gave rise to many solidarity expressions from organizations and countries around the world. Thus, many political and civil groups (political parties, trade unions, Non-governmental organizations, ecclesiastic organizations) pronounced themselves in favor of Nicaragua, expressing their solidarity in different ways: the creation of solidarity committees, protests, donations, sending of international brigades, etc. Also, the international solidarity became a front of the battle for de Sandinist government that needed to stop the counter- revolutionary and American aggression, to legitimate and to strengthen the revolution. In this way, and as a part of this solidarity movement, Brazilian political and civil organizations cooperated too. Based on this, we propose to rebuild and to examine some Brazilian solidarity expressions; analyzing written and oral sources collected in Brazil, Nicaragua and Argentina.
