Professor Pelechano belonged to a generation of psychologists who worked hard to position Spanish psychology in the position it now enjoys great prestige and a good level of formalization through its academic production and the institutionalization of psychology in training schools, specialized societies and the publication of research journals. Dr. Pelechano contributed greatly to the development of psychology in all these aspects. El miércoles 13 de abril del pasado año, falleció el prestigioso psicólogo Vicente Pelechano, autor de numerosas obras y formulador de una teoría de la personalidad. El profesor Pelechano perteneció a una generación de psicólogos que trabajó arduamente por posicionar a la psicología española en el sitial del que hoy goza gran prestigio y buen nivel de formalización a través de su producción académica y la institucionalización de la psicología en escuelas formativas, sociedades especializadas y la edición de revistas de investigación. El Dr. Pelechano contribuyó mucho con el desarrollo de la psicología en todos estos aspectos.
