Through narratives in their spontaneous interaction, neighbors enacted a collective action in response to threatening events they faced. Situaciones de tensión y caos social son sumamente lamentables, sin embargo, ofrecen oportunidades únicas para aportar a los Estudios Organizacionales. En este trabajo, a través del estudio de un caso en particular, se persigue conocer cómo surge el organizar entre vecinos en uno de los barrios de mayor importancia en la ciudad de Córdoba-Argentina; quienes a través de las narrativas espontáneas promulgaron una acción colectiva en respuesta a los eventos amenazantes que estaban viviendo.
