Graco Babeuf fue una fuente de inspiración y un modelo a seguir para los revolucionarios de los siglos XIX y XX, aunque no todos lo vieron de la misma manera. Mientras para algunos fue un exponente de la llamada “Ilustración radical”, para otros se trató de uno de los primeros (si no del primer) socialista moderno. Este trabajo propone que Babeuf fue una figura transicional, por lo cual tanto el “aspecto ilustrado” como el “socialista” estuvieron presentes. El caso de Louis Auguste Blanqui muestra cuán selectivas podían ser las recuperaciones de la experiencia babouvista y cuan complejo fue su legado. Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
