El caso de la Unión Eslava Argentina Serrano Benítez, Ana Slavic Union Residence Act Undesirables subject Exile Unión Eslava Ley de Residencia Sujetos Indeseables Exilio The Slavic Union Argentina, and specifically the third Slav Congress, which was attempted in the country in 1949 as a symbol of international anti-fascist struggle, and the ideological metamorphosis that some mem-bers of this organization had transited in their experience of exile, allowed us to look at the active participation that the State had in this repressive policy on communists immigrants, through the application of the Residence Act (No. 4144), in order to disarticulate the class struggle and eject dissent.The image that were formed in this period about the "undesirable foreigner communist" was central to justify the use of the Residence Act and enforce the arrest and expulsion of foreigners which developed "subversive activities" and threatened the national security, where the police, the government, conservative groups, the army and the Church were the backbone of this action. El estudio de la Unión Eslava Argentina, y específicamente el III Congreso Eslavo que se intentó realizar en el país en el año 1949, como símbolo de la lucha antifascista internacional y de la metamorfosis ideológica que transitaron muchos de sus miembros en esta experiencia de exilo; nos permitieron ver la participación activa que tuvo el Estado en esta política represiva sobre los inmigrantes comunistas, a través de la aplicación de la Ley de Residencia (Nº 4144), con el fin de desarticular la lucha de clases y expulsar la disidencia.La imagen del "extranjero comunista indeseable" fue un elemento central para justificar la utilización de la Ley de Residencia y hacer efectiva la detención y expulsión de los extranjeros que desarrollaban "actividades subversivas" y atentaban contra la seguridad nacional; donde la policía, el PEN, los sectores conservadores, el ejército y la Iglesia fueron la columna vertebral de este accionar.  Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
