Sumario:This article summarizes the results of my doctoral research that aimed to carry out a historical reconstruction of the colony of Argentine exiles that was formed in Venezuela between 1974 and 1983, analyzing the Venezuelan asylum policy, the exile routes, the political and sociodemographic profiles and anti-dictatorial political action strategies in the local and transnational political context. Until this investigation, Venezuela as a destination of this exile had not yet been studied in depth or questioned by the historiography of the political exiles produced by the last wave of state and parastatal repression in Argentina between 1973 and 1983.
