Based on the conception of anti-racist discourse by Teun van Dijk (2008), we study books, biographies, memoirs and speeches that reveal the strengthening of the Brazilian antiracist discourse abroad and its approach to the agendas of black leaders in the United States and Latin America. We mainly analyze the works of professors Abdias Nascimento, Guerreiro Ramos and Milton Santos. We conclude that the exile was a scene of criticism of the repression of the dictatorship and the false discourse that there was a racial democracy in Brazil. Exiled intellectuals developed theories and shared experiences abroad that collaborated to build a global vision of racism, considering the specificities of America and Brazil.
