| Sumario: | In this article we will analyse the experiences of the students of the Normal School of Paraná, both male and female, during the interwar period. We will observe, on the one hand, their participation in the first strikes and mobilisations that were organised in the period 1918-1920 and the representations that the authorities made of them. On the other hand, the affiliation of some of them to different anti-fascist and right-wing groups in the 1930s and 1940s and the spaces of sociability generated through the student press, centres and clubs. We will show that, unlike the students of other secondary schools, the student of Normal School was considered by the regulations and the directors as a state official. Secondly, we will show that, from the first decade of the 20th century, certain students began to recognise themselves as members of a student collective that transcended them. |
