The work proposes to review some definitions of economic policy prior to it in which the economic advisers collaborated, such as those debates of the same nature developed in the months prior to the presidential inauguration of 1983. Thus, the documents of the party group were consulted. politicians La Multipartidaria, the electoral platform of the Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) and the national periodical press, among other sources, seeking to reconstruct the economic debate in the years prior to 1983. We maintain that surveying these debates becomes significant to understand the previous foundations of the first economic plan of democracy, and specifically that several economic measures projected early were registered in a context of difficult duration given the more general inconsistencies of the Argentine economy. Los estudios de economía, historia económica y economía política que abordaron diversas problemáticas de los años de Raúl Alfonsín (1983-1989) pusieron una menor atención en el primer plan económico de Bernardo Grinspun (1983-1985). El trabajo propone revisar algunas definiciones de política económica previas al mismo en las que colaboraron los asesores económicos, como aquellos debates de la misma índole desarrollados en los meses previos a la asunción presidencial de 1983. Así, se consultaron los documentos de la agrupación de partidos políticos La Multipartidaria, la plataforma electoral de la Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) y la prensa periódica de alcance nacional, entre otras fuentes, buscando reconstruir el debate económico en los años previos a 1983. Sostenemos que relevar dichos debates se torna significativo para entender los basamentos previos del primer plan económico de la democracia, y específicamente que varias medidas económicas proyectadas tempranamente se inscribieron en un contexto de difícil perduración dado las inconsistencias más generales de la economía argentina.
