Sumario:This study analyzes, from a methodological perspective, an intervention experience framed within the project of society outreach “Training for the creation of sound and visual community stories” within the University of Cuenca. This Intervention was developed through an audiovisual training-creation processes aimed at five communities, including groups, parishes and neighborhoods of Cuenca and its surroundings. The intervention set out to be reinforced by strengthening the capacities of community participants, through the exploration of basic audiovisual production tools and techniques that will allow them to narrate their own stories. This methodological reflection, based on the challenges and lessons learned from the process, follows a trajectory that previously went through experiences primarily of training or primarily of creation, until consolidating a method of approach and intervention that contributes to audiovisual training-creation in community settings.
