This Intervention was developed through an audiovisual training-creation processes aimed at five communities, including groups, parishes and neighborhoods of Cuenca and its surroundings. The intervention set out to be reinforced by strengthening the capacities of community participants, through the exploration of basic audiovisual production tools and techniques that will allow them to narrate their own stories. This methodological reflection, based on the challenges and lessons learned from the process, follows a trajectory that previously went through experiences primarily of training or primarily of creation, until consolidating a method of approach and intervention that contributes to audiovisual training-creation in community settings. Este estudio analiza desde la perspectiva metodológica experiencias de intervención enmarcadas en el proyecto de vinculación con la sociedad “Formación para la creación de relatos comunitarios sonoros y visuales” de la Universidad de Cuenca. Intervención desarrollada a través de procesos de formación-creación audiovisual dirigidos a cinco comunidades, entre las que se encuentran colectivos, parroquias y barrios de Cuenca y sus alrededores. Mediante la exploración de herramientas y técnicas básicas de realización audiovisual, la intervención se propuso apoyar el fortalecimiento de capacidades de las comunidades participantes para la creación de sus propios relatos. Esta reflexión metodológica, basada en los desafíos y las lecciones aprendidas del proceso, sigue una trayectoria que inicialmente atraviesa experiencias prioritariamente de formación o prioritariamente de creación, hasta consolidar un método de acercamiento e intervención que acompaña la formación-creación audiovisual en entornos comunitarios.
