In November 2020, Vi luz y entré was founded in the city of Córdoba, which gave rise to the Club de Espectadorxs for young people between the ages of 18 and 25 who are starting out in the expectation of performing arts. We propose that when it comes to inexperienced spectators, the fact that the process of involvement (Brown, 2017) is shared among peers, allows the experience of expectation to be experienced as a social practice, that the meanings of the aesthetic experience are enhanced and that going to the theater as a cultural practice (Bourdieu, 2012) is incorporated as a habit. Finally, we reflect on whether it is possible to form spectators from a non-pedagogical point of view, based on affective ties and a sense of belonging? And what practices empower and emancipate audiences? These questions are addressed throughout the article in a reflective exercise from the practice of the case, with the aim of systematising the strategies of artistic mediation and audience involvement developed with new performing arts audiences. Este artículo se enfoca en la creación de nuevos públicos, como resultado de un proceso basado simultáneamente en la reflexión y la práctica en gestión cultural. En noviembre de 2020 se funda Vi luz y entré en la ciudad de Córdoba, que da lugar al Club de Espectadorxs para jóvenes de entre 18 y 25 años que se inician como espectadores de artes escénicas. Proponemos que, cuando se trata de espectadorxs inexpertxs, el hecho de que el proceso de implicación (Brown, 2017) sea compartido entre pares permite que la experiencia de expectación sea vivenciada como una práctica social, que se potencien los sentidos de la experiencia estética y que la salida al teatro —en calidad de práctica cultural (Bourdieu, 2012)— se incorpore como hábito. Finalmente, reflexionamos acerca de si es posible formar espectadores desde un lugar no pedagógico, basado en los lazos afectivos y el sentido de pertenencia, y acerca de qué prácticas empoderan y emancipan a los públicos. Estos interrogantes se abordan a lo largo del artículo en un ejercicio reflexivo desde la praxis del caso, con el objetivo de sistematizar las estrategias de mediación artística e implicación de públicos desarrolladas con nuevos públicos de artes escénicas.
