Conversations in a Circle materialises a sophisticated artistic technology that makes their intervention possible. This article gathers the experience lived during the implementation of that artistic process in different educational and socio-cultural environments, as an extraordinary and direct way of acting in political life. Through dialogue and drawing, the participants form a micro-community, aware of their capacity to address and take charge of issues that concern them in their daily lives, which they no longer find convenient to entrust to other public or private bodies. The members of these circular meetings ask themselves about the possibility of a free society. To this end, they rethink key everyday concepts such as democracy, creativity and work, among others. By observing and reshaping them, they cease to be abstract and show their meaning in the life of each participant. The group projects the outline of a new social form. Actualmente asistimos a un progresivo interés por parte de la ciudadanía por involucrarse en el diseño social, resultado de la manifiesta servidumbre del poder público a los requerimientos del mercado. Las Conversaciones en círculo materializan una sofisticada tecnología artística que posibilita su intervención. Este artículo recoge la experiencia vivida durante la implementación de aquel proceso artístico en diversos ámbitos, educativos y socioculturales, como forma extraordinaria y directa de actuar en la vida política. A través del diálogo y del dibujo las personas participantes conforman una micro-comunidad, consciente de su capacidad para abordar y hacerse cargo de temáticas que les conciernen en su día a día, cuyo encargo a otras instancias, públicas o privadas, ha dejado de parecerles conveniente. Las personas componentes de estas reuniones circulares se cuestionan la posibilidad de una sociedad libre. A este fin se replantean conceptos cotidianos clave como la democracia, la creatividad y el trabajo, entre otros. Su observación y remodelación permite que dejen de ser abstractos y que muestren su significado en la vida de cada asistente. El grupo proyecta el trazado de una nueva forma social.
