The descriptive approach combines semiotic tools with contributions from memory studies. First, the paper analyses the historical trajectory of production and reproduction forms of memory of texts belonging to Afro culture in the city. Then, narratives and characteristics of the memory produced in its media ecosystem, Instagram and Spotify, are described. The results show processes of digital memory construction based on the online/offline dialectic characterizing contemporary media culture. Este trabajo describe formas de memoria construidas por Afromama —colectivo cultural afro de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires— a partir de un análisis de diferentes usos y prácticas sociales de distintos dispositivos técnicos pertenecientes a las plataformas Instagram y Spotify.  La hipótesis plantea que el momento mediático actual garantiza a Afromama, la concentración y gestión de la memoria social, la cual era detentada por diversos y dispersos actores sociales —medios de comunicación, colectivos culturales, músicos, sellos discográficos— durante estadios mediáticos previos. El abordaje se realiza desde una perspectiva que conjuga herramientas semióticas con aportes de los estudios de la memoria. En un primer momento se analiza la trayectoria histórica de las formas de producción y reproducción de la memoria de textos pertenecientes a la diáspora africana dentro de la ciudad, situando a Afromama en su sistema cultural. Un segundo momento se detiene en la descripción de las narrativas y características de la memoria producida en su ecosistema mediático: Instagram y Spotify. Los resultados exhiben procesos de construcción de memoria digital a partir de la dialéctica online/offline que caracteriza a la cultura mediática contemporánea.
