By showing the width of physical boundaries we observe how frontiers arise, in this case laid out by the heterogeneous conditions and dynamics that belong to the groups that inhabit those spaces. Every and each geography preserve memories which may vanish with the passing of time and consequent forgetfulness. The present work inquires into the spaces latent memory, as an identity concept made up not only by its geographical boundaries, but also by the sum of practices and events that take place in order to build up subjects collective memories. Los filmes cordobeses Ferroviarios (Rocha, 2011) y Curapaligüe, memorias del desierto (Schmucler, 2010) exploran, mediante diversos recursos audiovisuales, distintos modos de abordar las memorias de los sujetos y las prácticas que formaron parte de una determinada geografía. Evidenciando la amplitud de los márgenes físicos, se da lugar a fronteras trazadas por condiciones heterogéneas y dinámicas de los grupos que allí habitan. Cada geografía preserva memorias que pueden diluirse ante la amenaza del paso del tiempo y el olvido.
