R. Vidal” of the city of Corrientes, and foster healthy life habits. To plan task distribution among workers according to their competence and health status. To award the institution the status of “Healthy Hospital” in one year.Methods: The Project was run by the hospital Labor Health service, working in coordination with other institutional services. A data base was created; clinical records, laboratory exams, and vaccination schemes were drawn up; health education, sports and recreational activities, standardization and healthcare improvement seminars and training of the personnel were implemented in order to improve workplace atmosphere.Results: 528 health exams were carried out, which led to the detection of 121 cases of hypertension (22.9%), 32 cases of diabetes (6%), and 340 cases of overweight and obesity (64.7%). Various health education workshops were conducted, besides mental health interventions, vaccination campaigns and detection of communicable infections and oncological pathologies.Conclusions: a health care institution has the specific mission of serving community health needs, but it must also promote the mental and physical health of the personnel in charge of its services. Having spent six years in charge of the hospital, we still continue to promote these values. Objetivo: Promover la Atención Primaria de Salud del personal del Hospital J.R.VIDAL de la ciudad de Corrientes, promoviendo hábitos de vida saludable. Planificar la ubicación del personal en las tareas acorde con su competencia y su estado de salud. Declarar a la Institución como Hospital Saludable en el termino de un año.Métodos: El Servicio de Medicina Laboral en coordinación con los distintos servicios de la Institución ejecuto el proyecto. Se elaboro una historia clínica y un banco de datos, se llevaron a cabo exámenes de laboratorio, planes de vacunación, educación para la salud, actividades deportivas-recreativas, jornadas de normatización y de mejoría de la calidad asistencial. Se fomento la capacitación del personal tendientes a mejorar el clima institucionalResultados: En 528 exámenes de salud (66%) del personal, se detectó 121 hipertensos (22.9%), 32 (6%) diabéticos y 340 (64.7%) con sobrepeso y obesidad. Se desarrollaron distintos talleres de educación para la salud. Se implementaron intervenciones de salud mental, campañas de vacunación y detección de patologías infectocontagiosas y oncológicas.Conclusiones: Una institución de salud esta al servicio de la comunidad que concurre a ella para resolver los problemas que la aquejan, sean estos físicos o psíquicos pero debe preocuparse para que su personal que es quien debe prestar el servicio , se encuentre en buenas condiciones de salud psicofísica y luego de 6 años de gestión seguimos bregando por hacer realidad esa premisa.
