Período Febrero - Diciembre 2010 Cravero, Valeria María Dionisio, Leandr4o epidemiological profile mental illness college students perfil epidemiológico enfermedades mentales estudiantes universitarios This paper refers to the study of mental disorders in college students, who attend appointments with specialists at the Secretary of Health, Office of Welfare and Life Quality under the Secretariat of Student Affairs, a health center in charge of preventive tasks and outpatient care.Data are analyzed in order to determine the pre epidemiological profile of this population, a key aspect to understand the health status of a community, to subsequently develop appropriate protocols for the reception of patients and to determine protocols for the psychopathological diagnosis and the recording of therapeutic orientation provided. El presente trabajo hace referencia al estudio de lostrastornos mentales en estudiantes universitarios, queconcurren a la consulta especializada a Dirección de Salud de la Subsecretaria de Bienestar y Calidad de Vida dependiente de la Secretaria de Asuntos Estudiantiles, un centro de salud que realiza básicamente tareas preventivas y asistenciales ambulatorias.Se lleva a cabo un análisis de los datos con el fin dedeterminar el pre perfil epidemiológico de dicha población,que es un aspecto clave para el conocimiento de la situación de salud en una comunidad. Para a posteriori elaborar protocolos adecuados para la recepción de pacientes y determinar protocolos para el diagnóstico psicopatológico y el registro de la orientación terapéutica brindada.
