| Sumario: | Due to the need of human resources training for the implementation of a new health system, in 1999 the sanitary system of the province of Córdoba was reformulated with a new reorganizationand reorientation proposal. The National University of Córdoba, the Board of Physicians, the Medical Society and the Deontologic and Scientific Associations have worked together to come to an agreement on the new work philosophy of health and on the number of human resources to be trained. This research shows the estimate of the number of physicians needed for the province, analyzesthe need for training in the different specialties based on the new sanitary model as well as theirdistribution. Likewise, it concludes by saying that, in the last four years, the Health Department and the UNC have been able to coordinate a health policy in order to offer training in accordance with the established policies. |
